    Musk?
I had my snake out today, just crawling around on my lap, and I noticed her lifting up her tail and getting that sort of “sausage butt” look. Luckily I keep a towel nearby whenever I handle her so I moved her on there and she passed some clearish liquid that left off white solid residue on the towel. Was that pee or musk? It didn’t smell that bad so I’m leaning towards pee, but I also don’t have a great idea of what musk is supposed to look like. Does it have a color? Are there any solids to it?
If it was musk I want to make sure I learn how to read my snake better when she’s stressed because I couldn’t see any signs of discomfort. Also sorry about the gross topic haha

She Pissed. It can be clear, yellowish, tan and a little camo green.. also will include a wet pasty flour or hard Urates which will also vary in color. My snakes do not musk but you would know it and the smell will be on you for a long time whether you wash or not...
...unless your taking about a Retic or baby Burm most other Pythons do not musk unless you get a very defensive one...

Musking is something you would tell apart mainly because of the smell and also because of the animal's behaviour, this only occur as a defense mechanism. Your snake simply urinated on you,
