    Banana Pied 1.0 x Mojave 0.1?
    Hello!

I have a Banana Pied and Mojave that I would like to breed together.
What are the possibilities I should expect?
Will any of them end up visually being a Mojave Pied or will they only be het?

Thank you in advance, I appreciate any and all replies!

To produce any pied, banana pied, mojave pied or banana mojave pied both animals the to carry the pied gene.

So in theory if I held back a Mojave het and bred it with my other Pied, it could possibly be a Pied Mojave?

If you are using your Banana Pied Male and you hold back a Mojave Het Pied female: In 2.5 years you breed them (if you are lucky), get eggs, and then hatch them: 1/8 will be Mojave Pied, and 1/8 will be Banana Mojave Pied. If you only get 3 eggs then there is a good possibility that none of them will be Mojave Pied...ahhh the joys of working with recessive genes...:)
