    Built some custom 6x2x2 enclosures
Couldnt find anyone that would build without a center brace, so I made my own out of melamine and 2x4s.

I'll post another picture when I've decorated them.

I actually have a third enclosure done too, but I'm thinking it's too tall to go on top, may save it if I want to do this again with a fourth.

Curious. Did you leave the top at all? I think I would be nervous of them sagging. Maybe one on the outside. No one said it had to go inside. Also. Looks great. Nice work

Yea, it'll probably sag, but I have a few options that I've thought up. Now they can be pulled out of the frame, so I wouldn't want anything permanent, but I can rig up some sort of bolt bracket system, either inside or on the front, so the top panel is bolted to the frame. The frame has two support 2x4s at 24" and 48" below and above each enclosure. Maybe I'll just go ahead and do it now, if I can think of exactly how I want to do it. Actually now that I type it out I think a good L bracket would work how I'm thinking.

    Thanks.

So I have noticed some sag already, so I ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VLLKX32

They will go into the frame above each enclosure. I'll drill a hole through the top of the enclosure, and bolt into those threaded inserts. If it's how I imagine, it should work perfectly, and be easily removable, if i want to take the enclosures in and out.

Good idea.. you can also make them like the AP offers for the 8’. Or if you want the PVC ones they will sell them to you.. my friend wanted them for his 6’ and bought them, contact Ali if you want to check.

Havent gotten the threaded inserts yet, so cant comment on that.

However, I cut the wood I found how I wanted and screwed them together so they're more stable and I can remove the whole thing as one piece.

Also I got the sliding glass doors today too.

Bolted. Sag will certainly not be a problem.

Threaded inserts are going into the support beams, and the bolt comes up through the enclosure into them.

Awesome. So much easier to address it now before it's an issue. Good job and great fix.
