    Weird Feeding Behavior?
Hi guys, my new red tail is doing the strangest thing, she's eating her food sideways by biting it in the middle of the belly, folding it in half, and swallowing it. Is this normal behavior for a red tail? Have you guys ever seen this? None of my ball pythons or corn snakes have ever done this, the weirdest they've done is swallow booty first. I'm a little worried that when I start feeding her larger food items that this could become a problem?

Some snakes are natural show-offs-...the one's with mouths big enough to do this. I used to keep rattlesnakes that would do this too. I wouldn't worry, by
the time your RTB is eating larger stuff, she'll probably have read the rule-book. ;)

Thank you very much for the reassurance!
