    Ball python not leaving hide
So ever since i put my bp in his new tank, 20 gallons, the tank is set up well, the humidity is ideal, aswell as the heating, but since i put him in there, hes atayed in his warm hide, and to my knowledge ive never caught him leaving it, only peaking out sometimes for water. Hes been in there for a few weeks now. But hes having no other issues. In hia previous tank, he moved between hides, and even climbed around during the night. Hes not dont anything like that since the new tank. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, this is my first snake.

I'd be more concerned if he was constantly roaming and couldn't get comfortable. I wouldn't worry too much as long as you dialed in the temps. I only see mine during the night when his lights are off.

I'd agree with ckuhn003 ^ ^ ^ And remember that it takes a few weeks+ for a snake to feel "settled in" to a new cage. He's staying where he feels safe for now.

I bet he's just adjusting to his new set up! I'm sure hell be cruising around before you know it. As above, would be more concerned with cruising.
