Picky about prey size

How would you go about getting a ball python to take larger size food? I have a young male, about 200 grams, that pretty much only eats day old rats. He’ll kill larger prey, but won’t eat it. Any advice?

How often have you been feeding (offering food)? El-Ziggy probably nailed it...let that snake get hungrier.
