Low quality enchi or just a normal?
Got this big girl, was told she was enchi, but part of me is unsure so I was hoping people with a better eye for this can help me out and let me know what you think. I’m not allowed to add pictures yet for some reason so here is a link, hopefully that is ok.

Low quality? Sorry but that’s a living animal that you took in, seems a bit harsh.

I believe they are posting in reference to the phenotypic expression of the enchi genetic mutation, not its inherent value as a living organism. Good on you for making OP feel so welcome on their first post.

It just seems weird to be calling an animal low quality or “just a normal” imo Could have been phrased differently. It’s worded as if the animal is solely a commodity... Could have just asked if it was an enchi or not, didn’t have to put the “low quality” or “just a normal”. Probably shouldn’t have been so salty but it just bugs me when people refer to living animals in a materialistic way. So sorry to offend just a pet peeve.

I can see where you're coming from, but it didn't bother me quite as much since I've seen others refer to it this way too. I suspect it's easier to remember than "low
expression"? And I like to remind ppl that "normal" is what natural selection chose as successful...;) it's actually the winner, not the loser.

Normal - Missing too many traits

At that size you should see some brown in the black banding on the back even for a low expression Enchi. :)

Aww I don’t mean it in any negative way, I just have read people call some snakes that are morphs low quality meaning their phenotypic expression isn’t as noticeable as others. She is such a sweet and gorgeous girl I love her dearly regardless of her morph. I was just wondering because the guy who gave her to me said Enchi but I really didn’t see it. I’ll use low expression from now on not to peeve anyone, but I don’t see her as a commodity at all, she is my pet and she will continue to have a comfortable life under my care. I think she is amazing just how she is.
