    Pied question
I have noticed that some Pieds have black lining the colored areas and some do not? Is the black outline indicative of anything in particular or just a coincidence?

the black outline may not be present upon hatching, but can develop over time as the Pied grows/matures. reg Pieds will have them and when u add certain genes like some dark ones or pattern ones - Pin, Leo, Black Pastel/Cinny. colorful Pieds or highlighter genes in Pieds can mask/minimize them like in YB or Banana/CG.

I had the same question a while back and got some pretty useful info. You might want to check it out, worth it for the pictured examples alone imo. https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...k-with-piebald
