    Substrate Question
Is untreated Pine chips toxic for Ball Pythons, or can I use it as substrate. It has been dried out, and made into fine beads. I will take a pic, and post. No additives of any sort.

Don’t use it. Pine, and I believe cedar although I’m not 100% about cedar, is toxic to reptiles. Can cause respiratory infections.

You can be 100 percent about Cedar that is the WORSE no,no. worse than Pine. You shouldn't use Pine either both have oils that are toxic toward reptiles. Aspen is the only recommend substrate of these three wood chips for reptiles anyway. I always remember Cedar as worse cause it is a coffin to snakes and reptiles.
