"The expert said there are many restaurants in the area, which attracted rats for the python to eat."

Living there unnoticed for ten years? I like the reporter, how many rats did you have in your ceiling?

FYI, there are restaurants in China that serve rats for humans to eat. So that's pretty convenient...just a quick trip to the attic if they run low on the daily special. :D

I should not have laughed as hard as I did reading this. I shouldn’t.

Ya gotta hate these "non-paying customers"!

I've never been to China but I read somewhere that some restaurants have "a hundred different ways they serve rat meat", lol.

I've lived in S. Korea before, where they eat all sorts of things that I wouldn't...it's a different world out there. ;) And who knows,
maybe our snakes are right? LOL

Its weird how if ur brought up where roaches are a delicatessen and stuff like that then it’s totally normal. Makes me wonder why as humans we don’t eat certain animals in different places. Pretty much every different location eats something that other people think is nasty

True. When I lived in Korea, I didn't enjoy seeing dogs treated as meat, I found that the kimchi on the breath of co-workers actually lingered on the phones after they
hung up & not in a good way :O and never once did I try, much less crave, eggs that had been buried for a while...but our tastes are learned as we're growing up, and I
suppose we eat what's available where we are, based on our cultural background.
