    Scale rot or damaged skin.
    Noticed a spot on my 4 month old. Didn't notice it earlier was only visible when he was coiled in that direction.     The color under the scales isn't as brown, I'm starting to think it's bruising from him striking at his meals and hitting the side of his one hide that has a semi rough lip. There's no sign of rot on his belly which is why I'm guessing this. Will be replacing his hides once they come in

    Sorta looks like dirt to me (substrate?) under some scales that got damp in that spot & made it stick? Wouldn't worry...
