Are Pinstripes still "in?" (and should I sell her or keep her?)
So we got this adult female pinstripe ball python a couple years ago. She's a big girl, about 3-4 years old. She was a terrible first ball python for my daughter because she bites any chance she gets, at anything that moves. She has her good and bad days but she'll always be bitey. Naturally my 15 year old daughter has lost interest and wanted to rehome her. I am not sure anyone would want her-- I would not want to sell her to non-snake people, or to people with kids-- so I took her. She is a lovely snake in her own way.
We bought her from a breeder who was getting out of the business because he just had a baby and didn't have time anymore. He had planned on breeding her.
So my question is, would there be any possibility of a breeder wanting to buy her? Are Pinstripes still "in" or are they out of fashion now? If she is this bitey, would any breeder even want to breed such a snake? Or should we just be Lucy's forever home?

Wow, that's a Big "Bitey" :O
I have a little "Bitey" at under 100 grams. But she's starting to settle down. and her bites don't hurt (yet)
I'm no help knowing if a breeder would want her or not, Personally I would be the forever home for a snake like that. I can handle the "Bitey"
But seems like that would end up being a snake that would eventually get abused or ignored if the wrong person ended up with her.
Good luck on your decision, That's not an easy one to make.

I have a girl we named face eater. I'm sure you can figure out why. While a pin isn't really an expensive morph I'm sure for the right price someone would buy her. My experience with a female that tends to bite (face eater) was after her first clutch she mellowed out, now I can't say this is every case. While she still doesn't like being handled she no longer tries to eat your eyes. I actually wish I still had my pin female as I have a beautiful mojo and jigsaws are sweet

Just a gentle reminder folks - we don't allow sales discussions on the open forums - please keep them either in the specified for sale forum or via pm's.
