Custom Avatar

I cannot get the option to have the custom avatar my mom made of Emi. It just shows the general avatars only. I think I have to have 25 posts but I have 25 but it still doesn't show a place to upload my own avatar?

What should I do?

Click on 'quick links' in the link bar across the top of the page (next to 'search'). Click on 'edit avatar'

Upload your pic from there.

Actually Shelby Beth knows how to get to the Edit Avatar section. What the problem is that once there, there is no section at the bottom in which to upload the custom avatar I made her. It quite simply is not there. All there is are the custom avatars and I asked her to post in the forum to find out why this is happening as I'm not sure myself.

It may be that she is such a new member that that option isn't available yet. I know my sister had the same problem. The only reason I say that is that she is still a 'new member' and not 'registered user'. What I don't know is how long it takes for a new member to become a registered user and for that option to show up. I hope that helps some. :rolleyes:

I am having an issue too. I am a registered user (I think) -- and it allows me to select the avatar and save it but then I get a generic message from the site that says

there has been an error uploading


The first time I did get the size error but then fixed that to receive this one. The photo is in my gallery but it will not let me customize my name so it shows when I post.

Suggestions? It is a cute photo of Nagaina and would love to have it post.

Okay I feel silly now....it shows up ... ha ha. It gave me this same issue last week and did not show so not sure what is up but looks like my issus is mysteriously resolved.
