    Growth rate of mainlands.
So I have had rainbow from March of last year and she turned 2 in February. She is 13ft plus and 50lb plus. What has your experience been with their growth rate. She will be 3 in February. IDK why I thought she was older.

    Growth rate of mainlands.
My girl was maintenance fed when I got her. 3’ and 150 grams at 6 months....they were feeding her a fuzzy mouse every 2 weeks. :/

I bumped her to rat pups and then weaned pretty quickly, but stuck to 2 weeks for awhile. I started out 10-15% of weight, then 15-20%, and after a year or two I went to pretty much whatever she would eat weekly. Now she gets whatever leaves a big bump once a month, or a smaller prey item every 2 weeks.

She’s always been a spotty grower, even on a heavier feeding schedule. At 1 year she was 4.5’, at 2 she was just over 7’, at 3 she was estimated at 8.5’-9’, at 4 roughly 9.5’-10’, and at 5 I now estimate her at 10’-12’ but I have no idea. People online have posted 12’ retics that look much smaller than her and 14’ retics that look barely bigger. I figure they probably have no idea of how big their’s are, either. Last I weighed her, she’s a lean 24 lbs and is gaining weight still, albeit slower than at the beginning of the year (she doubled her weight between Nov/Dec and Feb/March).

I really need to measure her. Haha

Here are the pics I forgot I had. Lol

She ate a 2 lb 11 oz chicken 2 days ago, in a 6’x2’. My tiny hand for reference (if your hand is normal sized mine is probably half that size.)

These are all from middle of last month.

And some pulled off the internet.

In a 51 qt back in March, she’s gained a few pounds since this was taken.

And on me (I’m 5’1”). Taken 3 months ago.

Sounds like she had a slow start. Mine is 2 years younger and looks safe or little larger. I did not power feed her. Been a month from her last meal. She is due to eat again this weekend. 1 large chicken a month is not bad.
