Good size for ball python that is nearing 1 years old?

Hi does this look like an adequate length/girth for a ball python that is nearing 1 year old (I don't know the exact age but when I bought it from PetSmart last year, it was probably a couple months old or maybe a couple weeks)?
    Thanks!

He appears to be about right.. There is really no scale that says they should be X size at X age.. I would say he is on the smaller side of a year old but he looks healthy based off this photo.. What are you feeding him and how often?

Thank you for your reply! I've been feeding it rat hoppers (size before small rats I believe) but I have recently switched it to small rats. I feed it weekly.

A weaned rat would be just below a small.. Hopefully you aren't feeding him mouse hoppers... He looks like he could take a small rat once a week no problem if indeed you are feeding him weaned rats..

I agree with Moose, your snake can eat a 50g rat with no problem. Once a week
