Coastal enjoying some sunshine
Since we're posting some coastal carpet pictures today, I thought I'd share a few I took of my boy Revali while the weather was nove a few weeks ago.
He's growing like a weed these days and lightening up a lot in color.

His head stamp made him look so concerned/worried as a baby, it was comical.
Pardon the mess in the picture.

He's been a fantastic snake, definitely one of my favorite to handle. Aside from our first handle attempt after he came home for a few days where he spooked at being picked up and tagged me (barely), he's been one of my calmest and easiest to work with. You can really see the gears turning when he moves and checks things out.
I did screw up and reach over his head without using the hook first once a few months ago and got a tag (barely even bled at all), but he was immediately calm after like "oh whoops, didn't think that was you! My bad!!" I've gotten tagged by a kingsnake half his size that bled more.
So a 2 total tags from a carpet from 1 month old up to over a year old now. So much for the reputation as nippy babies with this guy!

I think quite a few snakes are like that...bites are truly accidental (do not represent actual hostility or desire to bite us). I've gotten only one nip from my 10-year old
Australian spotted python, and it was much the same way. A quick tag-&-release, :snake: "oops!" You've got a wonderful pet there. :D

Very awesome to get him outside. Hoping to get a coastal for my next carpet. Nice work.
