    Shedding Question
My BP, Bonita, is getting ready to shed. Other than keeping it a litte more humid than normal, what if anything can I put in the cage that will help her when the time comes. Her eyes have just started going blue, so it will be about a week till she's ready to shed.

You can make her a nice humid hide from an appropriate sized margarine tub. Just snap on the lid, flip it over and cut an entrance hole, add in a nice layer of dampish paper towels (redampen daily), put it on the warm side of her home and bingo....humid hide! Some snakes love them!

We have a nice piece of wood and some rocks that we have disinfected and we pop them into the tub of whoever is shedding. Some use them, some just stay in the hide and wiggle out of their skin that way.
