Het for Red?

I bought a BP earlier this year from a breeder at a local Repticon in Greenville, SC. I did not get a name for the breeder, but am going back to that Repticon this weekend, so hopefully he'll be there. Anyway, I was told I was buying a 3 gene snake...Het for Red, Het Red Axanthic and Yellowbelly. It's definitely HRA and YB, but I'm having a hard time finding any info on the "Het for Red". I know there is a Red Gene, but kind of expected this to be recessive the way he said it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to be looking for a male to pair her with in the next year or two, so suggestions are welcome.

I would say there is an issue with your terminology.

Either you want to know about het red axanthic

Or red stripe which is co-dom and makes the super redtripe.

Het red axanthic is often called call het red for short or HRA

If you are talking about red gene that's different not refered to as het red but red gene.

There's a red gene that is not red axanthic but IMO it's tough to pick out except in combos. To me they look like banded normals.

It's the Red Gene that I was asking about (I was well aware of the HRA and YB - both show very well on this snake). Also, I received confirmation from the breeder last weekend. Thanks for the links and info.
