    Drastic color change on this hatchling
    How about the drastic color change on this Black Head Pastel Sugar! These photos were taken roughly a month apart!

    wow that's amazing! i wish we had more info on color changing BP's. it's so random and w/o explanation.

    BTW i also love the paradoxing on the lower third and tail there. unique indeed!

    That's amazing, especially for only a month apart. :O With some other snakes (like corn or rat snakes) yellow can take a year to fully develop. TKS for sharing!

    That Sugar sure "caramelized" nicely. ;) It's so cool to see the side-by-side, like watching silver turn to gold! (Also thanks for the Instagram link, just added you; that super dark Blackhead Sugar you posted most recently is a real stunner.)

    That's pretty wicked... not sure I've ever seen such a drastic color change in that short of a time span myself.
