gorgeous animals u got. are u working w/ any specific lines of Champagnes? i got a prized DG line combo before he went all in w/ the Monsoon project and the paradox one above is Ian G Black Pastel line. i have another Black Pastel Champ het Ghost, also with the teeniest tiniest ringer.

i love their ringers and Pied looks. have u thought about adding any genes that would give it pattern? i've seen Enchi and Leopard adding bits of pattern. i wonder what else would.

Same to you ("gorgeous animals")!
My only breeding age Champagne female came from Scott Seavey CV Exotics. She's a Black Pastel Lesser Champagne and seems to throw high orange babies, which seems to be a trait in CV's champagnes. Here's a couple pics of her.

And yes I will be taking my Champagnes in a direction that will put some pattern and contrast into them, or at least I'm going to try.:) All of my Champagne hatchlings are 50% het clown since their sire is a Cinnamon het Clown. So eventually their will be Enchi and Leopard Clown added to the mix. Hopefully sooner rather than later, if that 50% from last year's clutch proves out.

And then there is this little guy. I purchased him from CJ Wea:cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:. He's a Banana Ivory Champagne and I plan on pairing him with Asphalt female.

So I've been wondering about the direction you are heading with your Champagnes as well. Adding other genes for bolder patterns , or keeping them smooth and creamy? :)
I'm actually a fan of both, and I feel that the champagne gene is underated!
This years lesser champ male..Smooth and creamy! lol

I took a few pictures of her last weekend for the customer who purchased her. These pictures were taken in sunlight vs the previous pictures that were take under a white led lamp....She glows in the sunlight!
