How to breed

I have a question? Im going to get a Ball Python pretty soon so i want to know how to breed mice and rats. Which do you think are easier to breed? And How do you do it? I wanna breed them cause i use to have a pet rat and i have this hella big thing like 3 high with 3 stories and 2 feet long and like 1 foot wide. And also i have just a normal square cage for a mouse!! So thanks in advance!
