    Mite treatment.
So I;ve been seeing alot about mites lately, and most the advice here has been to use chemicals... what do you guys think about using predatory mites?

Sounds like a good idea, BUT I've never tried them, don't know anyone who has, & highly recommend doing lots of research before you try them. Just from what
I've seen about them, they might (no pun intended) take longer to eradicate the snake mites and they might ;) miss a few, which is all it takes to have another
mite "explosion". Every method has risks as well as benefits: these are a non-toxic option, but depending on the outbreak you're dealing with and the size of your
snake -or if you have multiple snakes with mites :O- the fact that this method takes longer may mean the difference between your snake's survival or demise, or
the difference between disease transmission from the mites to your snake(s). I'm glad you're asking & searching information- I wish I knew more about them too.

From the stand point of someone with a few snakes , if it happened you would want to eradicate them ASAP so it's not the gift that keeps on giving.

I could see it with one animal but again I prefer immediate relief if my animals have an issue, the good thing with proper management it should not happen
