Newest Love (DUW sorry)

Still not named Black Throat. I am in love with this big guy, over five ft in length and weighing in at approx 35lbs, I am in love, did I say that yet?
This guy came through the grapevine.... He was surrendered at The CT Iguana Sanctuary and redirected to Rusty Reptiles. Lucky me I got the sanctuary to take in five (count em!) five green igs for me. (I am so tired of iguanas, love em, but I was beginning to swim in them). Anyhow I do have the info from the individual who surrendered him, and he only had him for two weeks. This poor big guy has been traveling.
He is settling in nicely with his first vet trip coming tomorrow, He is well tempered and as long as he comes out of quarantine ok I think he will be joining our education programs.

What a beaut! My dream lizard.

..only animal my mom has said flat out 'no' to! (at least persistently.. lol) When I have my own home, one of these guys will be a house warmer. :)

He has turned out to be such a puppy dog. Sadly he has had an old mouth injury and he only has half of a tounge. Poor guy, all healed up and he doesn't seem to have any other issues with it. He still smell and eats well.
He really is a puppy dog, I am still so in love, althou he did put a nice tear in my jeans climbing my legs as I was holding him before a good nail clipping. Didn't draw blood thankfully, don't need any of that friendly bacteria.
