    Soldering heat tape
I've been working on getting a rack set up and decided to try soldering my heat tape. This was my first time soldering anything, and while I think I did ok, I managed to melt through the heat tape in a couple places.

I've used electrical tape to cover everything up but I'm not sure if it's ok to use? Id appreciate some insight on if I need to junk it or if it should be ok if everything is covered?
