Dimples in eyes

My little Crowley has a dimpled eye (looks like a raisin) tonight, I did turn his CHE back on as it is getting cold at night (Canada). That made the humidity go down to 50%, I normally have it at 55%, can 5% really make a difference? Is that a sign of dehydration? I readjusted my settings for the humidity so it goes back to 55% to accommodate for the CHE being on. So it was only for today that his humidity was down 5%.

He shed on july 28th and I only noticed the dimpled eye today, only noticed it on one side. I gave him a bath last night too.

Yes, typically a sign of dehydration...keep up his humidity & it will probably self-correct in time...can't say how long, but it's not a serious issue.

It might be that his long "missions" have this effect...I'm assuming the room humidity is far less than his enclosure? His recent shed required more hydration
from his body too, so combined with any reduction in humidity (from CHE) is probably what caused it.

Give that little cutie a hug & reassure him that he's going to be OK...;)

I’d maybe consider a soak just to be safe .... pm me if you want more info on soaking .. there are various ways , oddly .

Thank you so much, I was telling my husband "I'll post some pictures on here and the pro, Bogertophis would know." I figured it was due to dehydration but wasn't too sure as I did give him a bath the day before and the CHE only reduced to humidity by 5%, I fixed it now so Crowley has his perfect humidity back, those CHE just love to suck the humidity right out of the enclosure. His eye was dimpled before his long mission last night but yes his humidity in his play room sure isn't high at all. Thank you for your very insightful answer. I'm sure Crowley will be fine in no time, the dimpled eye didn't seem to bother him at all, just worried his humans. I will definitely give him lots of hugs, I love when he comes and boops my nose like he's hugging back. He also has this thing where he likes to lick eyeballs and make us jump.

Crowley's humidity is back to normal and so is his eye, nice and round, no more dimple. He is starting his missions for the night now, will see if anything changes while he's out, I'm sure he'll be fine as he always has been. :)
