    Vet rec. Ann Arbor?
Hey, I was just handling my snakes and I am pretty sure my newest one has an RI. Mars is an almost year old Mojave ball and I have had him since early May. He just eat on Friday. I heard a weird noise from him then but I thought he had got bedding on his glottis. Today he really sound like he was struggling to breath when I first got him out. Then a couple times after that I could feel him rattling through my fingers. Lily. my older one likes to half-heartily hiss when I first touch her . It sounds a bit like a wheeze but this was different. I have video but I'll have to edit ti.
I have a usual vet. but last time she told me to soak my corn twice a day to get him to eat so I am not sure about her expertise. So any have a vet in the Ann Arbor area that they really like? If not I will take him to her.

I can't help with a vet in your area, but advising somebody to soak a snake to help get it to eat is new to me. I'd definitely be looking elsewhere.

    update
I made an appointment for Friday with a different vet. However i pulled him out today and he drooled on my hand. Also, he opened his mouth twice in the five minutes of handling and the inside of his mouth was one big spit bubble. I don't believe he'd had a drink. Would you wait for Friday or take him to the emergency vet this evening? They do exotics but are twice as expensive.

This is your call...it's urgent but maybe not an emergency if he can still breathe OK*...but it doesn't mean he won't be even worse tomorrow though.
*snakes can't really cough, that's why you see them "open-mouth-breathing"...so it's up to you to gauge his level of distress.
