Serpensortia ...? - Draco Malfoy and the Pertinacious Python (feat. Rae)

As the old saying goes: "You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink."
As the other, lesser-known saying goes: "You can conjure a snake from thin air, but good luck after that."

LOL Rae has such a sweet confused face it matches the captions perfectly. That last photo is perfect, "Rae out" haha. Too bad it didn't work out for Malfoy!
Also, I'm not sure if it's just the lighting or my computer screen, but I feel like I can almost see VERY faint bluish markings on Rae's sides? He might be a very cool snake to look at under a black light. Do you know what pairing he was bred from?

Haha, Rae's derpy face is a more accurate representation of his personality than any of the more dignified photos I've wrangled out of him.
If I recall correctly, Rae's mama was a single gene Butter, while dad was Pewter Mojave Butter. For the most part, Rae looks pretty solid white, but occasionally I'll think I see something too and am never sure if it's just a trick of the light.

I can totally see his sweet, derpy side in this photo! So adorable :D
Cool to know the pairing! Yes, he is definitely a very clean and beautiful BEL. I only recently learned that some pure white BELs can actually have patterns that aren't visible except under black light so I feel like I'm looking more closely at every BEL I see and wondering which ones might have patterns now. There's always something new and exciting to discover about snakes!

I showed my wife Rae and she asked me why I did not get this snake [emoji23] I was not expecting that response lol she said Rae is beautiful.

Hahaha! :rofl:The compliment is extra appreciated from her, since I understand she's still coming around to the idea of pet snakes. Sounds like you may at least have her seal of approval for a blue-eyed lucy in your future? ;)

I've seen examples of the patterns under black light too, it's SUCH a cool phenomenon! I also love how many incredible new things I've learned since I started keeping snakes.
