Help me with this rescue ball python
Me and my daughter rescued this ball python a CPL weeks ago and I was hoping that with the proper care she would get better but she has a few wounds that just aren’t healing and her shed isn’t making it any better. I need to know what I can do to help her. I need to clean the coconut substrate from her wounds but I don’t want to hurt her. Need suggestions.
Thought I could upload some pics of her but not sure how

First step is a vet visit.

Also why would you put a snake with open wounds on coco? It should go on clean paper.

Paper towels until healed. And a vet to make sure the wounds don't get or are infected.

you can do a warm water soak diluted with some betadine for the wounds. they also make wound treatment products specifically for reptiles. you can research them on amazon.
