    New Opinions Required
Greetings All. My 100% het Pied Pair have visually locked 5 times, 3 of the locks were for 2 to 3 days.
I paired them this past weekend, and they have stayed at opposite ends of the tub. I will check when I get home today and if they still have not locked,
I will seperate them and put them together next weekend. If they still have not locked by next Monday evening, I will seperate them again.
Opinions I need are as follows: How many times should I try pairing them before reasonably accepting that she may have taken?, Can I reasonably accept that she may have taken already?

Thank You in advance for all opinions raised.

    IMO:
At least one noticeable lock/month until she goes off food and/or it is obvious she is building eggs.

If she is below condition/stressed/immature-locks will not matter.

It can take as little as one lock and as many as 10, you need to observe your female, check on follicular development etc, and of course you might see 10 locks and the female might not go that why reading your animals know when to stop is important also.
