That's an excellent series (Advanced Vivarium Systems) & I think highly of Philippe de Vosjoli, Roger Klingenberg & Jeff Ronne, but what year was it written?
That's the only issue, as things have been changing, evolving, in herpetoculture, & I'm pretty sure that book is older...in part because I have some books from
that series & from those authors. They've all been around a while. If you have any questions about what is written therein, just run it by us here.

(Are you asking because you are borrowing a copy or buying it? @ what price?)

    Yes.

Jeff Ronne is an excellent resource and contributes.

If I remember correctly the feeding section he writes is worth the cost of the book.

Word on the street is that Vin Russo is releasing an updated edition of The Complete Boa Constrictor this fall. The first edition is excellent, but out of print and ungodly expensive if you can find I copy right now. Lucked out and got mine for $50-60 last year... it’s like $200-300+ online currently [emoji15]

I was in an email exchange with Vin Russo last week, and while he didn't have any more specific details about when the new edition of The Complete Boa Constrictor is coming out, he did mention that his other book, Boas in Captivity, is shorter but still a good crash course on boas. It's also considerably more budget-friendly; the paperback edition is available on Amazon for $11, and the Kindle edition is $3.
