Where to put heat tape on racks
Hey guys. I already have heat tape and I know how to set it all up but I dont know much about the placement. Like is it ok to lay the heat tape on top of wood on the wood shelves, and is it ok to have the heat tape directly touching the bins on the top and touching the wood on the bottom? Also is it better using PVC or melamine. I have thermostats and such so u can control heat, I just worry about having a heat source directly on shelf material and directly on plastic of tubs

Neither for now, since I'd like to know the answer to my questions. I dont wanna put it in a non safe spot or such. I'm still building my rack and I just dont want to continue until in confident my material and tubs are safe to be touching directly with the tape. Wood and or melamine for shelves and normal plastic bins for the tubs
