7 Years Old.
This is Sniper. He is a Barranquilla, Colombian boa constrictor. He was produced by Gus Rentfro, sold to Legacy Reptiles to be used as a breeder male down the road. I was lucky enough to buy him before the age of 1 year.
He's been the perfect snake.
I'm guessing he's close to 7 feet long, I don't weigh my animals typically so I do not have that data.

This is a wonderful animal.

Thanks, folks!
I screwed up and I'm off by one day. Tomorrow is the actual day but you all get the point.

Happy early Birthday Sniper!
Beautiful, healthy, well cared for; what more could you ask for? :)

So today is actually the real B-Day.
This was when I got him. He was a couple of months shy of the 1 year mark.

Getting him timed up well. I had a severe work related injury and was laid up for months. Sniper was great therapy. I'd elevate my leg and let him climb around.
I like his size today, but there is something really fun about them when they are small.

Figured I'd post these up for folks who haven't seen what he looked like in the early years.
He's held his colors pretty well.
