ok, help me decide which one I should get.
I've been looking for the next snake and have decided I want something white, and easy to care for w/out spending a ton of money. I seem to have it narrowed to either a leucistic texas rat snake or a blizzard corn. What do you think? Pro's and con's of each? Temperment definately an issue because sooner or later, it will be around children. Do these musk? (not something I prefer) Thanks in advance for the sound advice!
BTW: no breeders around me locally that I know of...who are the people to go through on-line........
Re: ok, help me decide which one I should get.
Leucy rats are notoriously bug-eyed and retarded (seriously).. from inbreeding I hear. Not so robust.
Blizzard corns rock.. hands down my choice.
One possible lure to the leucy rat is the blue eyes some have.
Corns have wonderful temperament.. texas rats can be nice, but not quite so consistently as corns.
Corns once settled in will not musk you.. can't say for the rat snake.

Well, I'd get the corn then.
