Re: Truth about cage sizes??
I keep my small collection all in 4’x2’x18” PVC vision cages and they all thrive. They all eat and shed perfectly. I love watching them roam around when the lights go off. My snakes are for my enjoyment, I want them to have things to climb over, hides to explore and room to actually move around. Give them enrichment and you will see a whole different side. Cheers

My BP is a male, probably around a year old (but we’re unsure of his age). I’ve read on the forum that 41qt is overkill unless you’re breeding. But my 32qt seems not quite big enough. Not enough room for 2 hides (unless I use a smaller water dish and get a small 2nd hide?) Plus I read that the enclosure should be at least as long as the snake is, but the 32qt is not, and he’s not done growing. Should I go 41qt eventually, or will he be happy in the more compact 32qt?
Most male will do fine in a 32 quart obviously the foot print of the 32 quarts is what will matter, the 32 quarts I use for males and females up to 2000 grams are 23 3/4" x 16" x 6 7/8"
