    When should I weigh?
Since Gargamel just ate for his first time in 5 weeks, I'm curious to see if he has lost weight. I did not want to handle him while we are going through our dry spell so as to keep the stress level as low as possible. I know that you're supposed to wait for at least a couple days after they eat to handle them, but I was wondering more about how long I should wait so the food doesn't necessarily reflect in his total weight. When would it be more accurate to weigh him?

It's mainly about consistency so it reflects any changes. In feeding BP's I wait until after mine poop.

In non-eaters generally about two weeks apart just to track trends.

I tend to weigh after they go to the bathroom. The "empty" weight is the most accurate.

I do weigh occasionally other times, but mainly for my own curiosity and records.

I also weigh juveniles more often than adults.
