Poo stuck on him // & scales catching.
    Hello all,
He had a massive dump and spread it up the sliding glass door in fine style, it’s dried up so how do I get it off?

And almost all of his scales around his body are getting caught on us when I’m handling him. It’s not the first it’s happened but it’s never been as much as it is now. It’s because when he’s out he climbs to the roof of the viv and manages squeeze alongside it an then fall off in spectacular fashion. Don’t know to do about it, I usually wait for him to shed and let it sort it’s self out but he’s only just shed two weeks ago and I’m guessing it’ll be about 6/7 weeks till the next one. Don’t want any of his scales coming off (If they can I’m not sure). Is there anything I can do to somehow prevent any from coming off?

Poo clean-up: water with a drop of Ivory (mild) soap

Not sure what you mean about his scales "catching"? Got pics of scales? Sounds like his climbing has just damaged (bent) them? They should not "come off".

Not very typical for a BP to climb this much...makes me wonder why? Like, is his cage too hot? Need more info, how you are keeping him???

    3ft viv.
    Cold end: Minimum 77*f
    Hot end: Max 90*f
Temps & humidity are stable & checked using a temp gun.
Humidity when not in shed: 50-60%
    Humidity when in shed: 70-80%

I’ll be getting a 4ft viv in the next few months, one where the heat source can be put on the outside.

Would letting go across a damp towel also do the trick for the dry poo?
