A job in collections..

Has anyone either done this, or known someone who did? I want some input on how this type of job is. I am starting my new job on Monday! I will be making much mroe than I am in my current, dead-end job. But I want to hear some stories. I will probably be searching out people who are trying to avoid payin their student loans...

I want to be the type that will work with people, rather than be nasty or demeaning. Ya know?

I did it part time about 2 years ago to get a little extra for christmas and such, it wasnt bad. With the age of caller ID I found that you really only get those that are interested in paying and working things out to set up payments those that jsut done care dont pick up. It can be trying at times.

Wow, so there are actually people out there who want to pay? I hope so; I want bonuses.
Tomorrow, people, is my LAST day at my current job; I start my new one monday! Please wish me luck; I am jittery!
