It's hard to believe she was once that tiny worm. She's the best first snake I could have possibly asked for, and I can't wait to spend many, many more years with her!

Happy second birthday Mazikeen! I like the little birthday hat, she is so cute. They grow up so fast, I remember watching my little guy, Crowley grow up and it was such a fun experience, now he's 5 years old and full grown.

Thank you! There was a very big storm front tonight that rolled in while I was at work that had me worried that this might very well be her last birthday, but the tornado touched down a few miles north of us, thank goodness. Many more years to come!

My gosh, yes! Even looking at photos from a year ago, she was crazy small! She's a solid 45 inches long, and about 1000 grams, so she's still got some length and girth left to gain before she's done, but we're getting there!

Haha, thanks! She hated the hat so much. Only managed to keep it on for a good two seconds -- just long enough for a photo.

Hazard of living in the area, but the forecast said the skies were supposed to be clear yesterday. Guess the weather had to commemorate the Joplin tornado somehow.

We're all good, with Maze and Lan Fan none the wiser, and I gave Maze a little mouse snack for her troubles once I got off work.

Eek tornados are one of my biggest fears.. That's why I'm up in the mountains :P I'm glad everyone is ok <3
