Which side of the snake tank should I drop my humidifier hose
Does it make any difference if it's on the side with the heating pad or cool side?

I have no experience with fogging units. However, if the fog comes out cool, I would place it on the cool side. Unless it comes out cooler than the temperature of the cool side, then I would set it up on the warm side.

I have a cool mist humidifier with a hose connected to it. Because it's cool I have the hose on the cool end. I think if it was on the warm end the ambient temp on the warm end of the tank wouldn't stay warm enough and the whole tank would kind of be like a cool end lol. It does tend to make the cool side even cooler, but in my experience this is okay. My snake seems to have a preference for being on the cool end despite the ambient temperature on that side dropping when the humidifier is on.
I also have it coming out right over the water bowl. Sometimes condensation forms on the end of the hose, and it really helps to have it over the water bowl so that the substrate doesn't get wet.

I'll have to re-arrange some things but putting it over the water tank is a good idea. Thanks!
