Different kinds of led lighting for snakes ?
Hey guys I'm looking to create a very naturalistic setup in my carpet python cage and was wondering if just a regular led light strip will work and not effect the snake negatively. I have a Philips hue LED light strip that was thinking about using and sticking to the top of the cage.

The LED lights themselves should be fine. I just received a new PVC enclosure from Reptile Basics and I was able to order it with a pre-installed LED strip mounted inside. What I would caution against is using anything sticky. Over time, the humidity in a snake's enclosure will almost definitely cause the adhesive to fail and the lighting to fall. Unfortunately, the adhesive will still be strong enough to stick to your snake, and the removal can lead to scales being ripped off and other unpleantries.

I would recommend finding a way to use round, smooth headed screws for the mounting, but never use anything sticky.
