The people I work with don't find the same entertainment that I do with the box marked "Frozen Meat"https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bb406ca348.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d86b76ee31.jpg

My MIL opened my freezer once.

    Once.

    Never again.

I’ve got a large ziploc container labeled “DO NOT OPEN”! I hide it in the back of the freezer and I haven’t bothered to tell anyone in the family that they’re even in there. I’m waiting for the day that one of them gets hungry and digs through the freezer looking for something to make for dinner. You’ll probably hear the scream from one side of Texas to the other!!

When we bought or new freezer my wife bought me a shallow tub with a lid to keep my rodents in.

I don't nearly have as many rats as that as I only have 1 ball python but I do get 24 rats at a time which lasts at least 24 weeks. My mom has a deep freezer so I get her to keep half my rats till I need them as they last longer in the deep freeze. She doesn't mind having rats in her freezer at all. At home I have a little freezer on top the fridge and the rats take up the bottom part, I had to really make sure my husband was okay with keeping rats in the same freezer as our own food. He had no problem with it because our little python is both our baby. :)

I repackage all of them into vacuum saver bags.
This is the time I miss breeding my own rodents.
I used a lot less bags when I packaged them right after gassing.
It sucks trying to rebag already frozen rodents.
