    BP ovulation question
This is my first attempt at breeding ball pythons. We have 2 females we are hoping to get eggs from soon. From the information I have found they have been progressing pretty typical so far except for one thing. One female ovulated (I believe) and had her prelay shed on 4/26. The other female looked like she ovulated on the 25th, but still looks like shes still at that stage now 11 days later. She hasnt eaten in months but looks like she swallowed a huge meal and has looked that way for about a week and a half. Is this a concern? Any info is helpful. Thanks.

Pictures would help. From your description, are you sure your not just seeing some big eggs? Ovulation doesn't last that long but depending on the female and size eggs, she could definitely look swollen until laying her eggs.

Still learning to navigate the forums such as how to post pictures, but I have been able to save them under my name in this thread. If you look at them, the picture of her on the paper towel was taken back on 4/25 when I first started noticing what I believed to be an ovulation. The other photo was taken today. Thank you.

Easiest way I have found to upload pics is to install the Tapatalk app on your phone and just upload right from there. I'd just wait them out and let nature run it's course but congrats on the upcoming clutches! :gj:
