If They Could All Be Like This.
By far the best handling snake in my collection. She's the easiest to take out of her viv and stays calm and almost social durning the handling session.
Jewel is coming up on 6 years old. She's a 7 footer, maybe a tad longer, and she's in great shape. She's a coastal mix.
This is her 2019 deck rail session.

The temps were starting to drop so we kept it short.

Her upper half still has good coloring even in her later years as you can see here.

Really great marking on her gio, looked like she enjoyed the deck rail, was she a nightmare to uncoil her tail off it at the end of the photo session

I love me some Jewel! Great to see her doing well Gio. She's one of the influences that got me into carpets.
Re: If They Could All Be Like This.
She looks amazing. One of the nicest looking carpets I've seen. :)

It covers a variety of species, not just carpet pythons. However the carpet group is fairly large so I could see how you may have thought that.
Richard,
She was easy to pick up off the rail.
She never puts up a stink about being moved.
Such a good girl.

That's good then, a couple of my boas are a nightmare to get off when they wrapped round something

I hear you there.
My boa somehow put himself in a door jam trying to escape over my shoulder.
I didn't like it at all and it took about 20 minutes to get him out unharmed.
The retic is even more of a problem.
