    Ball Python Enclosure Upgrade
It's been a few months since I've upgraded my BP's enclosure, but better late than never for showing it off. I think along with the switch, my husbandry has improved greatly too. Of course I'm still open to criticism and opinions! ;)

    Original tank:
Re-purposed fish tank (gallon size unknown, fairly large but tall with less floor space), uth (no thermostat), overhead lamps including red night lamp, 2 hides, water bowl, minimum decoration, jury-rigged humidifier system

    New terrarium:
Large exo-terra, new uth PLUS thermostat, ceramic heat emitter instead of lights, more decoration and hiding places, humidifier set up better (and on automatic timer)

The new terrarium still has trashy looking towels on the screen top to help keep in humidity... but aesthetics aside I think this set up is much better for my BP! I got him when I was in middle school and he's about 4 years old now. As a kid I made a lot of mistakes but I've grown and learned along the way. My noodle seems much "happier" now. He comes out a lot more often at night then he used to and seems more explorative.

(Bonus picture of the star of the show himself!!)
