Heating? DIY Melamine Enclosure

Don't know if its been asked, but building a melamine enclosure just wondering what would be the best way to heat? I currently keep my ball pythons in tubs with flex watt heat tape and a digital probe to control heat. Is the a heat pad I could place on inside, waterproof attached to a digital heat control probe to heat? Advice would be Greatly Appreciated..

In a cage like that you want a radiant heat panel connected to a thermostat

Thank You, hadn't considered that and I have a radiant heat panel from my days of keeping green tree pythons:)
