I am wanting to buy this BP... but does this look like scale rot?
I am looking to buy this BP from morphmarket, so naturally I asked for more photos to make sure nothing was edited. The photo they sent me has a black mark on a couple scales that weren't on the snake in the original photo. I'm worried its scale rot... how do I proceed, I love this snake so much. I don't know how to deal with scale rot.
The first photo with the arrow is the one they sent me, the second photo is the one advertised. Thanks!

I don’t think that’s scale rot but it definitely looks like scales. At first I was thinking it was just dirt or something but idk... I think it’s just a dot he has.

Hmm, maybe it’s just not as noticeable in the first picture. Good to know it doesn’t seem like scale rot.

It could be the editing on the first breeder photo, but I'm wondering if maybe it's developed a freckle? Over time some of my BP's of various morphs have developed spots that weren't there previously. Does not look like scale rot to me.

that's not scale rot. i think it's just speckles and freckles that develop w/ some morphs. what is that BTW? some kinda Black Pastel/Cinny Champ or Silver Bullet-plus additional genes? it's got a cool glow. beautiful!

He’s a GHI Mojave Black Pewter. Going to get him next Friday and I’ll post more pictures then. :)

If it is a freckle, I think it’s cute. Adds uniqueness to him. Otherwise he’d be too perfect ;)
