Okay I really don't know how to take a poll on a forum but I'm just curious how many people have heard their snake pass gas? I have not. And I am thankful for that !

Somebody had commented earlier about you know if a snake passed gas in the wild it would reveal where it was hiding. I think it'd be the opposite, I think it was scare any potential nearby predator away. Lol

I have heard my little Crowley fart a few times now, the first time I heard it (he was also pooping so i dunno if it counts) he farted so loud I thought someone was moving furniture downstairs. I went to look at him and he had his whole back end of his body moving just to let it all out. Any other time I didn't really hear it but I smelled it and it was stinky. I also gave him a bath one time and he was making so many bubbles it made me laugh, I'm sure that bath felt nice for him to let go like that.

Crowley took a piss on my couch so I was bringing him back to his tank so I can clean up and right before I was about to put him back he took a crap on my boob... at least I didn't have to clean his tank. lol

No farting from my snakes that I've ever heard, but my water python makes weird squishing noises if you hold her middle as she crawls through your hands... I suspect that's gas of some sort.
