How is this thermostat probe position?
I've just installed a thermostat (connected to my UTH) and am posting a photo to check that the position of the probe is appropriate. The stat probe is the black one on the floor of the viv at the left (warm side), beside the thermometer probe which is the smaller white one. The UTH is underneath the enclosure on the far left.

There is also a 60W incandescent bulb on the left side which is timed to be on during the day, and a 50W infra-red bulb also on the left, timed to come on at night. Neither bulb is on a thermostat.

Can you tell me if the stat probe position is ok, or if anything else could be improved? Thanks!http://static.flickr.com/30/56942611_0500450ab7_o.jpghttp://static.flickr.com/26/56942612_c99af31a9d_o.jpg

As long as it is in a place where the animal cannot move it and where the temps can be read by the proper heating element then your fine.
