Re: A Million Little Pieces
Nope, can't say I have. Who is it by? I just got done reading this awesome book by Dean Koontz, called The Taking. Throughout the book, you have this feeling of dread come upon you. It really is fantastic.
I also really like The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Must have all the books!! LoL :)
Re: A Million Little Pieces
Koontz uses the archetypal monomyth style of writing, which is why you always feel a longing for more or sense of emotion deep inside you after reading his books. He is good at this. I also love The Dark Tower series by King. I have studied his texts indepth, I am a writer too, but not nearly as good. I took a writing course by King at UofM three summers ago. He is very good at portraying ideas and inspiration. I would have to say I idolized him. Another good book I just finished is The Speed of Dark by Elizabeth Moon. It's about an autistic man who is trying to live life normally, but cannot until he finds out about this new surgery that will make him normal. Very strange and well written.

I won't tell you the ending, but I will say that you will cuss SK out for a month and then you'll slowly understand that it was the only way it could have ended... That series is awesome!
