Thermal burn or scale rotting? help
Hello, a few days ago I posted a thread here asking for help about some scales damages, now my BP just shed and they look worse than pre-shed.
Here is a pic before the shed: https://imgur.com/gallery/2PdvNTG
    And after the shed: https://imgur.com/KXQpgHg
As I said in my first post I believe it's a burn since my heating tape overheated even though I have a thermostat so I treated it like a burn applying some Silvadene on these wounds.
Does it look like scale rotting or burn to you? What should I do in addition to what I'm doing right now?

    that looks like an infection.

deep clean the entire enclosure; use only paper towel for substrate.

ill let someone else discuss a treatment plan; this doesn't seem worth a rush to the vet YET but if it gets worse with intervention then a vet might be necessary.

EDIT: i took out the scale rot part after rereading your post.
